The Blake at Carnes Crossroads Senior Living Community hires executive director, director of sales and opens on-site sales center

SUMMERVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA: Blake Management Group (BMG) is pleased to announce the hiring of Kathryn Daugherty as executive director and Stephanie Crane as the director of sales for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. Daugherty and Crane come with a wealth of experience within the senior living industry, having both spent the last decade working with various senior organizations.

Daugherty began volunteering at a local assisted living community at the age of 8 and has not looked back since. Following her undergraduate studies in child and family development at Georgia Southern University, she went on to receive a master’s degree in gerontology from the University of Missouri. Throughout her career in senior living, Daugherty has held roles in her communities ranging from activities assistant to director of sales to executive director, and she brings with her experiences from all areas within the assisted living community. Her love of life and creating and enjoying new experiences with those around her are what make her such a valuable addition to the BMG team.

Much like Daugherty, Crane has had a heart for the senior population from a young age when she would volunteer at the nursing home where her mother was a nurse. Upon graduation from East Carolina University in 2007, she went to work for the Gaston County Department of Social Services and has remained in senior care ever since. Crane is an active member of the Low Country Senior Network and is devoted to ensuring our senior population is being cared for, which makes her a perfect fit for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads.

The Blake is prominently located in the Carnes Crossroads development at 4015 2nd Avenue. The on-site sales center is now open and can be found directly across from Northwood Church.
