Daugherty and Crane come with a wealth of experience within the senior living industry, having both spent the last decade working with various senior organizations.
Daugherty began volunteering at a local assisted living community at the age of 8 and has not looked back since. Following her undergraduate studies in child and family development at Georgia Southern University, she went on to receive a master’s degree in gerontology from the University of Missouri. Throughout her career in senior living, Daugherty has held roles in her communities ranging from activities assistant to director of sales to executive director, and she brings with her experiences from all areas within the assisted living community. Her love of life and creating and enjoying new experiences with those around her are what make her such a valuable addition to the BMG team.
Much like Daugherty, Crane has had a heart for the senior population from a young age when she would volunteer at the nursing home where her mother was a nurse. Upon graduation from East Carolina University in 2007, she went to work for the Gaston County Department of Social Services and has remained in senior care ever since. Crane is an active member of the Low Country Senior Network and is devoted to ensuring our senior population is being cared for, which makes her a perfect fit for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads.

Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a full-service construction firm with offices in Charleston, S.C. and Charlotte, N.C., recently announced it has joined with Cardinal Ventures to bring another assisted living and memory care community to the state of South Carolina.
The Blake at Carnes Crossroads is the second project Frampton has teamed with Ridgeland, Miss.-based senior living developer Cardinal Ventures. The project is a sister community to The Blake at Woodcreek Farms, which is currently under construction by Frampton in Elgin, S.C.
Part of the namesake of both communities derives from Blake Management Group (BMG), the management company of Cardinal Ventures.
The Blake at Carnes Crossroads is an 88,000-square-foot, 100-unit assisted living and memory care community strategically located to enjoy the attractions of both Summerville and Goose Creek.
Sitting just 20 miles northwest of Charleston, S.C., The Blake began construction on March 31 and is scheduled to be complete by May of 2017.
The Blake will be a premier anchor for the new Carnes Crossroads master planned community, a 3.7 acre site developed by Daniel Island Company, which includes medical offices, shops, restaurants, a school, parks and a church.
