Two Claiborne Communities Add HeartLegacy for Video, Family Engagement

February 1st 2017 - The Claiborne Retirement Communities today announced that two of its properties, The Claiborne at McComb and The Claiborne at Thibodaux, partnered with HeartLegacy® for video marketing and family engagement technology.

A unique amenity for senior communities, the HeartLegacy technology solution showcases senior communities and connects residents with families through video.

Claiborne communities, part of B.M.G. Senior Living, leverage HeartLegacy for video marketing, social media outreach, staff video profiles, resident video messaging, legacy preservation, and family engagement.

The Claiborne at McComb and The Claiborne at Thibodaux will utilize HeartLegacy to address lead generation, resident engagement, and family connectivity initiatives. These two Claiborne communities are the most recent of several B.M.G. properties to implement the HeartLegacy service.

B.M.G. Senior Living C.O.O. Phil Benjamson says: “It’s important that our communities remain dynamic in all facets of resident and family engagement. Adding HeartLegacy to our communities helps us in a variety of areas – life enrichment, resident and family engagement plus gives visibility to the Blake Experience. We’re excited to bring new technology and amenities to our residents and families. HeartLegacy is another contribution in that area.”

HeartLegacy C.E.O. Walt Armentrout adds: “We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with B.M.G. and Claiborne communities. They are on the cutting edge of senior living. HeartLegacy’s technology is a perfect fit with their Life Enrichment Initiative, allowing us to bring value to their residents, families, and community operations.”

The Blake at Oxford and HeartLegacy® Partner to Connect Families and Preserve Legacies of Residents

We are excited to announce that The Blake at Oxford is now offering HeartLegacy, a new amenity that provides residents a unique way to connect with their families! HeartLegacy’s technology allows residents to capture daily video messages or longer, professionally edited Legacy Messages that can be shared through an exclusive Family Network.

Engaging residents with family is essential to their health and happiness. Through daily communication and sharing special memories, this amenity benefits both residents and their families. They stay close and connected despite the time and distance that keeps them apart.

HeartLegacy is the leader in legacy preservation for the senior care industry. Their one-of-a-kind, proprietary technology gives residents the ability to communicate with their families using 2 types of video messages, and an exclusive online family network:

  • Legacy Messages™ are 10-minutes long, professionally edited and give residents the opportunity to share their wisdom and capture their legacy.
  • Videograms allow for daily interactions with loved ones, provide everyday connection and peace of mind to families.

“We are honored to be part of a community that cares so much for their seniors! The Blake at Oxford and HeartLegacy share many of the same values around enriching the lives of seniors,” says Walt Armentrout, CEO of HeartLegacy.

“We could not be more excited to partner with HeartLegacy. Their amenity and service fits perfectly with what we work daily to enhance; experience, family interaction and socialization,” says Jeremy Cole, CEO of The Blake Management Group. “I predict the Videograms will be the preferred way to stay in touch with mom and dad in the near future. For us, because of HeartLegacy, it is today.”
